There are certainly many cigars available in the stores around our neighborhood. However, one of my favorite ways to enjoy a cigar is to get one near my home. I love the smell of a cigar as it is burning and the way the smoke leaves your mouth in one long stream of air. I am, however, a big fan of the way a cigar burns, so I tend to keep tobacco products in my home.
One of the most frustrating things about owning a home is the storage of tobacco products. Not only do the tobacco products tend to get very expensive over time (due to high demand), but the fact is that it can be hard to find a place a tobacco product can be stored securely. Not long ago I found a really nice cigar humidor with a full-sized hook which made it easy to store my cigars. But that’s where it got bad.
The humidor is nice, but the cigar humidor is not. It’s a full-sized hook, and once the cigar is wrapped, it’s not easy to take it out of the humidor without somehow damaging it. Because there are no locks on the humidor, the only real way to access the cigar is to unscrew the top, open the door, and take the cigar out. This is much easier for me than it should be, but it still sucks.
In another note, I was in an area of the city where a lot of cigar smokers hung out, so I had to walk up and down the street to find a good place to smoke one. I’ve been in this city for about a year, and I’ve not smoked in this area of the city in about a year. If it gets too crowded, I’ll have to go to another area.
