I have a therapist, but I’m not sure how much of a difference it makes to me. I actually think it’s good to see how things I’m doing in my day-to-day life makes a difference in how I see myself and others. I’ve had multiple people say, “Oh, when I saw you were a therapist, I thought I’d get better at seeing myself.
I see a lot of people come up to me and say, “I love how you write so much, and I want to learn more about it.” I actually think it’s pretty cool. I’d like to be more self-aware and more aware of my own behavior so that I can help myself in other ways. If someone is having a bad day, I can ask them to stop, and see what happens.
I’ve talked to a lot of people who want to take care of themselves, and as a therapist I think that’s a great thing. For people who are struggling with issues, a good therapist can be incredibly helpful. But as a general rule, I think people should have a little more self-awareness and self-awareness in themselves.
Of course this self-awareness has to be about their own behavior, their own habits, routines, and impulses. If you want to improve yourself, do it, but don’t overdo it. Take it one day at a time.
A lot of people don’t realize that they can go to a doctor and get a physical exam and a mental health evaluation done on themselves. This is not to say that a doctor can’t be wrong, but a lot of people tend to think that doctors are always right, or that a physical exam is always valid. I had my physical checked as a child and it was pretty clear that I was not sick, but as a teenager I had major issues with alcohol and anxiety.
