This week I’ve been reflecting on how the health and happiness of my body has been a driving force behind my life. Whether I’m walking through the kitchen, minding my business, or hanging out in the front yard, I notice that every single time I’m around my body, I’m taking care of it.

Health karma really sounds like a positive concept, but as the dictionary defines it, health karmas are negative. What does this mean? Well, imagine a world where everyone would be obsessed with health and happiness. No one would be so concerned about the body, it would just be a matter of making sure everyone ate properly, so they could stay healthy.

This is exactly what I mean by health karma. Every time I go to the gym, I am taking a nap every day, so I can keep my body in the best shape it can be while also getting those hours in the weight room. This is also the reason why I love yoga so much, because I get so much done in the morning with no stress about being healthy for the day ahead. I get to go on vacation with all my health and fitness goals in mind.

health karma, or the idea that we need to take care of ourselves so we can get the best sleep and be healthier, has a simple but profound effect on our own health. For example, when I wake up and eat a cup of black coffee with no sugar, I tend to get less groggy than when I eat a cup of sugar-rich coffee. And since I tend to sleep with a book on my face, I am less likely to get a full night’s sleep.

For some people, it’s difficult to do any sort of physical exercise because they are so worried about not hurting themselves. But for others, it’s easier to be health-conscious, especially if they are in a fitness regime and are used to using an exercise machine. So those of us who are health-conscious generally have a hard time doing cardio without making ourselves sick and getting injured.

That’s right, health-consciousness is one of the three major ranking factors in Google. And since we’re interested in optimizing our body so that we feel a lot healthier, we should aim to do cardio a lot, preferably three times a week.

There are at least three reasons to do cardio: to get rid of toxins, to build muscle, and to improve heart rate, blood pressure, and metabolic rate. When it comes to cardiovascular stress, the biggest risk factors are high blood pressure and high cholesterol. If you are overweight and not exercising, your cholesterol is going up and your blood pressure is also going up. And of course, high blood pressure and high cholesterol are the two biggest risk factors for cardiovascular disease.

If you think about it, there are two reasons to exercise: to strengthen your cardiovascular system and to build lean muscle. It’s the same reason why you might want to add a few more pounds to your body.

So in a way, I think it is also the same reason why we’re here on this forum. We are here to have fun and share our knowledge of healthy eating and fitness. And I guess all of us have the same goals in mind. So we want to eat healthier, we want to get leaner and stronger, and we want to live longer.

I know what you’re thinking. Are we guys who care about our health? No, we are not. But we are all here because we want to live longer. The same reason that we exercise and we want to get leaner are the reason that we do this. We are here because we want to live longer.
