I will start with the fact that we’ve been conditioned to believe that the stress response is something that we have to work for. The way I see it, if you’re stressed, you’re going to react, right? The problem is that the stress response is a function of the hormone adrenalin and cortisol. Cortisol is what is meant to clean out the arteries when you have a heart attack or whatever.
Cortisol is one of the most important hormones in the body. It controls your blood pressure, it controls your metabolism, it controls your digestion, and it even controls your mood! Its function is to help you deal with stress and anxiety. Most of us are not getting the benefit of this. When you have a panic attack, it is because your adrenal glands are not functioning well enough to help you handle the stress.
The problem with this is that in the last few years there has been a tremendous increase in the number of people with acute stress reaction. And this is a condition that can last for days or even weeks. The diagnosis of acute stress reaction or the condition known as CMD can be a dangerous mistake. Stress is not a good thing and should not be used to increase your stress levels. It’s a good thing to reduce but too much cortisol is a bad thing.
But the problem with this is that we are all aware of the medical field, so when I say “there is a problem,” I am referring to the fact that people with CMD are in a lot of pain and are often very, very worried. But I would also say that it is a good thing to take a sick day or two. If you’re suffering from chronic stress you are in a lot of pain and should take a sick day.
When you get sick, you feel sick. When you take a sick day, you feel like you have a stress reaction and should take a sick day. It is very easy to become attached to your illness and not take care of yourself. I know this because I’ve been sick so many times. For instance, I was in a motorcycle accident and the doctors were very slow to diagnose the problem.
If you had a healthy day and a sick day, you can get the symptoms of your illness down. You can always take a sick day or two because it means you can get your stress reaction down.
Take a sick day and a sick day and you can get your stress reaction down. A sick day makes it easier for you to take care of yourself. On the other hand, if you take a sick day, you could end up taking care of things on your own anyway, so you can save yourself some money. Sometimes you just need to take a sick day, because you need to take care of yourself.
This is another reason to take a sick day. Sometimes things just go wrong for you. Take a sick day and you can take care of things on your own.
That’s the gist of it, but as soon as you get sick, you probably don’t want to go into the office and get your work done. A sick day doesn’t really give you the chance to get your work done at work, but you could just sit at home and do stuff.
I think it could be a good idea to take a sick day. Just because your boss wants you to take a sick day doesnt mean you should. You could just go to the beach and do something. Or take a long walk in the rain. I think that would be more relaxing than working, but you still might get a lot done.
