What can I say? I’m a big fan of self-awareness. I’m not one of those people who have an endless supply of random knowledge to absorb and put to good use. But I do get it. It’s not for everyone, but for me, it is. I’m able to sit down and take a really good look at myself and figure out where my weaknesses are, and how I can get better at it.

I know that most of us don’t think of looking at our own personal and family lives in the same way, but when you are self-aware you realize that you are not as good at self-awareness as you would like to think you are. So, when you look at your own life, its not just a glimpse of your past, its a vision of your future.
I think for many people, the best way to look at their own personal and family lives is as a vision of the future. For example, the author of this article, Luma Health, clearly has this vision for her personal and family life. She obviously recognizes that she has a lot of work to do, but is also aware that she has good days and bad days, and has to be willing to make some big changes.
Her article is so full of actionable strategies, but the real story here is that she has a vision about what she wants her life to look like as she approaches her 30s. She’s not alone in this. We hear a lot about the importance of creating a vision for your future, and a lot of people take action with these intentions in mind.
One of the most common ways people create a vision of their life is by having a vision board. A vision board is a list that someone creates about everything that they want their life to look like. For example, if you want to be a writer, you might start by saying your favorite book is Wuthering Heights. Next, you could write down your goals for the day.
