This is the first time I have heard about this model of personality. I’ve always been under the impression that I am someone who has a lot of traits, one of which is the “gut feeling”. I also am a super-sociable person. One of my biggest personality traits is not being over-critical of other people and their actions.

The three models of personality all share one thing: they all have their unique characteristics, and they all experience the same traits.

The diathesis-stress model is a model for people who are under the impression that they are a certain way. It’s a model that is heavily influenced by scientific research about the psychology of stress, as well as the research on personality. However, the diathesis-stress model does not suggest that people with certain personality traits are more or less likely to be stressed or depressed.
