I’m not in the best position to prevent cancer. I don’t have cancer. And I sure as shit don’t have a cure (or even a great treatment for it). But I probably do have some sort of passive strategy that will help me survive and keep me healthy.

While the passive strategies may seem like the most reasonable one, its important to remember that the passive strategies alone have a very limited effect on your health. The active strategies are the ones most likely to make a difference. As such, if you want to maximize your health, you need to be active. You need to make some changes in your lifestyle that have a greater impact on your health than simply being proactive.
